Since my wedding is about a month away, I have been researching ideas for my out-of-town guests' welcome bags. My bachelorette party was in Miami, so I thought I would practice some DIY ideas on the girls' totes.
By now, I'm sure most of you have seen Chelsea Clinton's welcome totes for her OOT guests. If not, you can see them here. I decided to borrow her "S" theme. Below are my "S" selections.
After making all the items, I placed them into a denim tote. I used red ribbon to tie on shipping tags, which had each girl's name on them.
I also included a handwritten Thank You note and printed itinerary (both on DIY, nautical-theme stationary) to complete each tote.
I was able to get into all the rooms before the girls checked in, so each tote sat waiting for them as a welcome/thank you. All the girls lo-oved them! The totes were a big hit!
To all my 13 fabulous girlfriends that went to Miami to celebrate with me, thank you! Each and every one of you made the trip unforgettable.
Stay tuned for DIY explainer posts for some of the items shown above.
Do you have great welcome tote ideas? Did you DIY welcome totes or purchase completed ones? Tell us the pros and cons of your experience.
Wishing you all glamorous planning!
